1. Provider
These Terms govern your use of the AI Befreier browser extension and related websites, provided byFlowent, a sole proprietorship of Luis Ens, Am Neugraben 9, 79112 Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany ("we", "us"). Contact: anfrage@flowent.de.
2. The service
AI Befreier is a Chrome (Manifest V3) extension that exports AI chat conversations from supported platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek) into structured Markdown ZIP files. Processing happens locally in your browser. A free tier is available; paid tiers unlock the full feature set as described on our pricing page.
3. Merchant of Record
Purchases of paid plans are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd. acting as Merchant of Record. For the purchase transaction, Paddle is your contracting party and its Buyer Terms apply in addition to these Terms. We provide the software and the license; Paddle handles billing, invoicing, taxes and payment data.
4. Licenses
On purchase you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the paid features:
- Premium — 1 device; Enterprise — 5 devices (same for the monthly tiers).
- Activation is tracked by an anonymous device hash. You may deactivate a device in the extension's Options to free a slot.
- Subscriptions (yearly or monthly) include continuous UI-update maintenance for as long as the subscription is active.
- You may not resell, sublicense or share license codes, or circumvent activation limits.
5. Prices & billing
Prices are shown on the pricing page in USD. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle based on your location. Yearly and monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
6. Right of withdrawal & refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. Details and how to request a refund are in our Refund Policy. As a consumer you may also have a statutory right of withdrawal; for digital content that begins immediately with your express consent, the statutory withdrawal right may lapse — but our voluntary 14-day guarantee still applies.
7. Acceptable use
You are responsible for using the extension in compliance with the terms of the AI platforms you export from and with applicable law. You must not use the software for unlawful purposes.
8. Availability & changes
AI platforms change their interfaces from time to time, which can temporarily affect exports. We work to maintain compatibility but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify or discontinue features; material changes to paid features will be communicated.
9. Warranty & liability
The software is provided with statutory warranty rights. To the extent permitted by law, we are liable without limitation only for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal duty), limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected. We are not liable for data loss or service interruptions caused by third-party AI platforms.
10. Governing law & jurisdiction
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. For merchants, the place of jurisdiction is Freiburg im Breisgau.
